I had zillions of pieces of paper with no rhyme or reason. I had it organized by color and theme. I followed the steps in this guide that Susan created and was inspired to create paper packs. I took my mom and all my paper and went to our local Board and Brush studio. (my daughter owns it, so I had free run of the place) We spread out all the paper on 8-foot tables with the goal of making paper packs. My mom is a seamstress and really good with colors and coordinating patterns. It was amazing. We went around and around collecting paper into paper packs. By spreading it all out, we could see what was there and it turned ugly paper into something brilliant. It was fun to find out that papers that don’t seem to go with anything actually could find a home. Now, none of my less-than-stellar paper purchases are a waste anymore!!! I still have the paper sorted by color and theme, and now the themes contain paper packs and it’s easy to pull something out and create a two-page spread.
