Drool Over Your Next Layout

Who doesn’t love eating out? It gives us a chance to explore restaurants around our communities, try new things, and invite friends for a night out! We love how Linda scrapbooked her restaurant memories. Adding the receipt to the layout was a fun touch and – if we’re being honest- how many of us take pictures of our food but never use them? This is your chance! Pull out those foodie photos and drool over your next restaurant layout.

The Story Behind The Layout

This was a Double Page layout on our recent trip to Texas to see our best friends. We had a wonderful time with the group last night. They really seem to enjoy it when Lee and I are together. They like it when he gives me a hard time lol. I enjoy it too...keeps things light and moving along. The group isn’t afraid to ask me anything and I like that too!! They compliment on the ideas, tips and new techniques I give them. That makes this all worthwhile!! I love to teach and help out someone else that may need something new to get their creative juices going or take an old room they have setting on a shelf or in a drawer that they can pull out and use with their templates and create with it and love it all over again. When they send me a picture of their layout they did with the idea I gave them, it brings a smile to my face for sure!!!

Embossing and Journaling

Linda added a journal entry (aka food review) by using the Treasure a la carte from the November 2019 Kiwi Club and then used a Cricut embossing tool to make the markings on her flower (Bonny 2T, 5T, 6T – – Kiwi Club) and Mason Jar. For her title, she used wood letters from Art C.

Using Burlap and Kiwi Club

Linda loves her Kiwi Club Kits, especially the a la cartes. She had so much fun being able to use the Sprig a la carte from the April 2019 Kiwi Club and the Mason Jar a la carte from the September 2018 kiwi Club. The Metal phrase she used on the Mason Jar is from Tim Holtz: The Idea-ology Quote Bands. To tie it all off and add some texture, she used burlap to trace out her a la cartes and cast a shadow on her deer a la carte.
