Soccer Ball

Go Team Go!

Jen Budge here! Kiwi Lane’s All-Star Accessory Set has been out for a while however this is the first opportunity I have had to use them. I was so excited when this product came out b/c I am a Sports Mom!! I only have one child who’s old enough to play sports however he loves them, as I do watching him play. He’s busy year-round with Baseball, Basketball, Swimming and his favorite sport so far… SOCCER!! So these Kiwi Products were perfect scrapbooking some of his Soccer Photos.

Seeing Before Creating

I love being able to change things up while I’m Playing To Create my layout. I love to actually visualize what my layout is going to look like before cutting into any of my Layout Paper Kit or cropping into any of my photos.

The Finished Product

I’m so happy with how this layout turned out. I love how fun each pattern of the Kids At Play Layout Kit is and how this kit allows me to create different sport theme layouts. (Yes, I have a couple of these kits) I also love coming up with NEW ideas using my Designer Templates on my Sports Themed Pages. And like I already said I have lots of sports themed images so I can’t wait to scrapbook more!

Designer Templates Used:

Spook Alley (1A,1B) Chevrons (1A,1B) Strips (3″) Rings (3) All-Star (4,7) Celebrate (8) Tags (4) Tiny Shapes (2T) Photos, Photo Mats & Mini Photos

Paper Used: Kiwi Lane’s Kids At Play Layout Kit

How to Create a Soccer Ball

I love incorporating soccer balls into my sons soccer layouts and it’s so easy to do with my Designer Templates. You can make your own by using Rings (3) and your Tiny Shapes (2T) templates. If you’d like a larger soccer ball simply use the Rings (4) Template. Either way, they both create perfect soccer balls. I began by tracing and cutting out the full circle from my Rings Accessory Set and then several hexagons from my Tiny Shapes Set. When I was done with that I inked each piece, set out the hexagons on top of my circle and arranged them until I was happy with what I saw. Then I adhered them all down and cut off the parts of the hexagons that hung over the edges of the circles.

Football Birthday Card

I love using my paper scraps to make as many cards I can with them after I finish a scrapbooking layout. In this case because I was using the Kids at Play Layout Kit and my son had a birthday party to attend coming up I pulled together a Football Birthday Card for my sons friend who plays football.

I hope that my project inspires you to scrapbook your children’s sport photos.

I would love to see the pages you create! Please share them with us on Social Media!
