I love this time of year!
I love everything about it…the cooler weather and windy days that blow the leaves right off the trees, the smell of cider and pumpkin yummies baking in the oven, and the traditional trip to a local corn maze and pumpkin patch for some old-fashioned family fun! Linder Farms is one of our favorite destinations this time of year and these pictures of one of our trips date back to 2005! If you look real close, you’ll see younger versions of Susan, Shiloh and I – with our kids – enjoying a beautiful Fall day picking pumpkins.
I created the border for my layout using:
Once I had the border laid out, I began to build my harvest scene using:
Autumn 6 to represent cornstalks
Autumn 1, 3 & 4 for the fall leaves
Autumn 2 for the acorn
Halloween 2 & 3 for the larger pumpkins
Tiny Shapes 4T & 8T to make the layers on the pumpkins
Tiny Holiday 4T for the small pumpkins
