In my family, we have a tradition of buying a new Christmas ornament to put on our tree or making an ornament ourselves, and this year I wanted to have something that represented the events that define 2020 but at the same time retain that Holiday spirt. This is when we were inspired to create this 6 Feet apart printable. It takes into account the craziness of 2020 as well as the light-heartedness and love I’ve felt within my home, and I hope you can find a way to use it too!
You can use it to add to a neighbor gift, gift bag, treat bag, or even soda! Or if you want to be funny, attach it to a ruler! Or, if you’re like me, you can make an ornament.
Gift Tag Inspiration
Here are a few things to keep in mind if you decide to make a gift tag; If you want it to be a little bit thicker, try using the cardboard that comes in the back of scrapbooking paper kits. You can cut it out and use it to add thickness to your printable tag.
After that, you can cover the back with a cute patterned paper and the front with the printable and then put some twine or ribbon at the top. When gluing the paper and printable to the cardboard, simple school glue will do the trick or modge podge.
Personally, I used paper from the Tis the season 6×6 paper pad by Echo Park to cover the back of my gift tag, but any Holiday paper pad works great! After that’s all finished, I just inked the edges with vintage distress ink and tied it onto the gift.
