So here we are, 20 days away from the “big day”, and if you’re anything like me you haven’t even begun to think about what to do for the neighbors. With all of the family prep, band concerts, dance concerts, choir concerts, work parties and family parties that speckle this short period of time every year, it’s often an “oh sheesh—what will I do for the neighbors!” borderline heart failure moment around every 22nd of December!
Do not despair! Kiwi Design Team member Jennifer Budge comes to the rescue with a bounty of darling neighbor gift ideas. Not only does she hook us up with ideas for homemade baking delivery, but quick store bought treat ideas for those that just don’t have a lot of time on their hands—or tend to burn everything that goes in the oven.

Making treats for our friends is just something I do in December. It’s the one time of year I make all of my husbands favorite treats on the same day and load up paper plates full goodies for the neighbors. Well this year I thought I’d try something a little different than the traditional paper plate method. I grabbed some brown paper lunch sacs and began crafting making the above designs. They are so fun and festive for the holidays. My plan is to wrap my separate treats up and then place them in these cute bags to deliver.
Snowman Treat Bag
Echo Park Paper (wintertime by Bella Road)
- Rings: Center of 4 (bottom of snowman) Outside of 2 (center of snowman) Inside of 2 (head of snowman)
- Tiny Tag: 1T
- Tiny Strip: 1/2″
- Tiny Shapes: 8T (Snout), 4T (Eyes)
- Winter: 2 (antlers)
- Rings: 1 center smallest circle you can make for the red nose and the eyeballs
- Tiny Strips: 2″ & 1″ for the title area of my bag at the bottom
Poinsettia Bag
- Christmas: 3 (used twice) & 2 (used for both leaves)
- Tiny Holiday: 7T (used twice)
- Adorn: 2B for the two wavy strips at the bottom
This is a perfect if you forgot to deliver homemade cookies to someone and don’t want to bake again or if you just don’t like baking at all but still want to give a treat away.
